Overall Goals	This symposium is a two day educational event that focuses on the most up-to-date techniques for the treatment of peripheral vascular disease and includes brief "technique and results" sessions on evolving endovascular therapies. Our nationally recognized faculty will address issues in current clinical practice, complications and pitfalls of newer technologies, and discuss the evolution of the field. Using a systems-based approach, the format will cover all major areas of vascular disease. Attendee participation and interaction will be emphasized and facilitated through debates, Q & A sessions and interactive case presentations.
Learning Objectives	Understand the most current surgical and endovascular treatment methods for patients with vascular diseases including: lower extremity ischemia, aortic aneurysms, carotid disease and venous disease Understand the decision-making process in choosing between different endovascular methods for the management of chronic lower extremity ischemia Review the techniques and results of surgical and endovascular options for lower extremity revascularization and limb salvage Understand surgical and endovascular best practices and techniques for the treatment of carotid artery disease Review the most current devices and techniques for the repair of thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms Understand the evaluation and decision making process in treating PAD with either open or minimally invasive surgical techniques Review the most current medical and surgical principles in treating the infected foot with soft tissue and/or bone involvement including antibiotic selection, surgical debridement and reconstruction Review the principles of wound healing and discuss decision making with the most current available modalities to heal chronic wounds including wound healing dressing products, negative pressure wound therapy, local surgical flaps and grafts, hyperbaric oxygen, and skin substitute products Review the medical and surgical decision making principles in the management of the neuropathic foot including bracing, reconstruction, and medication selection
